I'm monetised!
I feel like I should run around and celebrate, but it just sort of landed when I was focussing on everything else that I'm trying to juggle! I guess this would be a good time to stop and notice that I've just reached a goal.

How niching down made it easy to Start a YouTube channel
I started my first YouTube channel back in 2015 But here's the thing It failed for 9+ years Why? Because I didn't focus on a niche. I didn't realize it until now, but this gave me a competitive advantage. "FAILED FOR 9+ YEARS — how is that an advantage?" When Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb, it took him 9,999 tries. He found 9,999 ways NOT to do it. You can call me the Thomas Edison of YouTube now. Everything changed when I niched down. I was able to post consistently & leverage YouTube to monetize my passion. Here are 3 ways to start YouTube to help you monetize your passion! Step 1: Choose Your Calling - Turn your channel into a Personal Brand - Share your story while giving value - Write down 5 problems your dream viewer has - Write down 5 solutions - Now you know what videos to make Step 2: Find Competitors to Model - List 10 channels you want to be like - Use them to farm infinite video ideas - Give people what they want, which helped me get that first bit of traction when I started Step 3: Record I used to overthink this part, but I just recorded, acting like I wasn't gonna post the video, but I ended up posting it! This system makes it feel effortless instead of overwhelming. Hope this helps you out. - Sulav

I did a walking and talking video
So I took the plunge and filmed my first walking and talking video! Whooo yay! I've uploaded about 5 clips to be edited, enough to make a reasonably good video. It got easier and I rehearsed it about 5 times which really helped. It turned out better than I thought and the occasional dog walker didn't seem to be bothered so I will do more of them. Relieved and pleased I went through with it.

Walking can be really hard, as far as talking pace. I also tend to naturally hold my breath 😳 so I run out when I’m speaking, lol! šŸ˜‚ I need to practice more if I’m going to walk during recording. We all find what works for each, makes for a nice variety šŸ¤—
I Hit 100 Today
I hit 100 today! Yea! On Thursday's Live call I reported that I had been stuck at 28 new subscribers over the past 28 days for a very long time but that stat started climbing over the last few weeks. This morning I discovered I have 100 new subscribers in the last 28 days for the first time ever. Total subscribers is 2,895. If you're not aware this is from middle panel of the Analytics Dashboard.

Some Friday Motivation
It’s Friday — and that means it’s time to check in, not check out! :) Whether you had a productive week or feel like you barely moved the needle, I want to remind you of this: šŸ‘‰ Progress is not always loud. Sometimes it’s the quiet consistency, the small decisions, the one post you made even when you didn’t feel ā€œonā€ā€¦ that’s moving you forward. Don’t underestimate what you’re building — one step, one video, and one idea at a time. šŸ‘‰ The gap between where you are and where you want to be is made up of daily courage. And you’ve shown it just by being here, showing up for yourself and your vision. So take a breath, reflect on one win from this week — big or small — and set one simple intention for the weekend. You’ve got this. Let’s finish the week strong, creators!!! xoxo Share below: What’s one thing you’re proud of this week? Let’s celebrate all forms of progress šŸ’¬šŸ‘‡

This has been a very slow moving-the-needle month!!! My small win is I’m still pushing forward and thinking of ways to help others heal. xo
