AS mentioned by @Jamie King In his post here I have gone back and found a couple of pictures from 12 years ago (couldn’t find any digital pics of my dressed, only bike racing) 2 of these are me dressed up, the white leather jacket is actually Pleather and was thrown away less than 12 months after this due to the outer peeling off. Me in SHorts and an untucked Polo was the Status Quo, as it was easier to have this sort of outfit in my coffin locker on a ship. Much like Jeans and a Polo. For me to dress up as I am with my wife at a friends engagement party was a hassle and something my wife would have to drag me to do. Now I drag her into all the clothing, watch and fragrance places 🤭

I got some new things from OTAA as part of my collaboration with them. SO I have put a couple of them into this WFH outfit, though I did have an early 0700 meeting with at the office. That meant I had to stop at the ;local cafe on the way have and grab my usually coffee with an extra shot of coffee in it and some Banana Bread for sustenance. Todays outfit consist of: M.J. Better late than never—last week’s meetings with “the Bobs” called for stepping up my game, so I went full power suit: sharp grey wool, pale light-blue shirt, navy tie, pocket square echoing the shirt, and a cheeky pair of pink socks that popped just right against the dark-brown shoes and charcoal trousers. Early in the day I leaned into the sophisticated smokiness of Tom Ford Oud Wood—rich, woody, and quietly commanding—then freshened up mid-afternoon with Commitment by Antonio, because nothing says “I’ve got this” like a clean, confident re-spray that keeps the trail professional yet memorable. Although it’s not your classic boardroom “business watch,” I couldn’t resist wearing my favorite mechanical piece—the subtle ticking and vintage-inspired dial just feel like the perfect understated flex when you’re in the hot seat.

Back at home, mostly relaxed, pretending emails are light reading, and catching up on RMRS posts like it’s research. Today’s outfit is low effort but dependable: a relaxed brown Polo by Iron Oak Apparel out of Texas, Levi boot-cut jeans, and my trusty navy blue Bulova Morning Star keeping me honest about time. Finished it off with Legend Night EDP by Montblanc, because even a laid-back day deserves to smell a little legendary.
