Should we move deal workshop to Wednesday 6:45pm EST?
We've had a lot of requests for an evening call, trying to accommodate. Which date do you prefer?

Picking a Market/Area
Hey everyone, Is there a website or online resource that exists which shows you data on average home price, household income, crime rate, demographic, school ratings, etc for the market you area researching to buy in? Currently I use housesigma for this information but would love if it presented the data into an interactive map/heat map where you can pan around different areas and see what the data is as you zoom into a specific area.
Monthly book club for real estate books
Hi everyone, I'm thinking of adding a monthly BOOK CLUB feature to the Realist course. Here's the format I've envisioned. 1. We assign a book and a club leader at the meeting 2. We all read the book that month 3. We get together to discuss the book one month later, and select another book & leader Discussion would be formatted as follows: 1. 5-10 minute presentation of key findings from that month's book club leader 2. 30-60 minutes of structured discussion between Realist members (structure determined by the monthly leader) Here are some of the books I'd want to first cover: 1. E-myth real estate investor https://thanmerrill.com/books/e-myth-real-estate-investor/ 2. Millionaire Real Estate Investor: https://kellerink.com/products/the-millionaire-real-estate-investor Does 1 book per month sound reasonable and achievable? If we get enough interest, we will make it happen. Comment "I'm in" if you're in!

I'm down to try it with the hopes of keeping me accountable! Would it be real estate related books only or can it include books pertaining to becoming a better version of yourself? (ie: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill)
Ontario Developers form a Coalition
https://www.cp24.com/news/ontario-developer-coalition-asks-governments-for-tax-breaks-to-pass-on-to-homebuyers-1.6985405 Interesting read. Severe lack of coordination between the federal and municipal governments here in Ontario. Municipalities increase development charges because they need to fund infrastructure for new housing but now developers can't build because taxes are too high. What's going to give first? I work for one of the developers in the coalition and can say we are not building more housing if the numbers don't make sense.

@Daniel Foch politicians seem to think high rates are causing the affordability crisis. I personally don’t have much faith in our government to make the right decision here by lowering taxes and development charges. Once rates are lowered, I can see us battling inflation again.
