(1 in 30) We’ve had a meeting I sent an email and looks like we’ve bagged a new client. He’s had his previous gardeners for 7 years. @Charles Benton i agree buddy . Same with my story , little changes has made a massive difference to my Bathroom imstallation Company . Had my first ever 20mins with @Mike Greene 6months ago , got tonnes of information and tips on how to grow my business. What a light bulb moment , I will never forget this 💡💡💡. Went away rebranded everything , my uniform , logo , moto, polished my truck brand new logo on my truck. Word went around that Godfrey had found an investor 😀 🤷🏾‍♂️ And today I am booked into March and looking to employ qualified bathroom fitters , I say BRING ON 2026 🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽
Raw Dedication …
I want to take a moment to recognise and thank incredible @Mike Greene . Despite not feeling well today, he showed up ready to share his knowledge. Even though only I attended today's session, his dedication never wavers. His commitment to helping others succeed, regardless of the turnout, shows the kind of person he truly is. Thank you for your generosity, your time, and your unwavering support. Your impact goes far beyond what you might realise 💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥

Simple Sells. Clever Confuses.
Yesterday I asked people to describe their business in 7 words or less... And to record a 30-second video pitch. Not a second more. A few brave ones did it.Most didn’t. Because here’s the truth… When people pitch, they often try to impress rather than connect. They use big words that sound intelligent. Or clever phrases they think make them sound professional. But if a 12-year-old can’t understand it, half your potential customers are gone before you even start. Clarity beats cleverness. Every time. Look at the some of the biggest brands in the world: Nike → Just do it. Apple → Think different. L’Oréal → Because you’re worth it. Google → Organise the world’s information. Tesco → Every little helps. McDonald’s → I’m lovin’ it. Adidas → Impossible is nothing. Airbnb → Belong anywhere. Harley-Davidson → Live to ride. Ride to live. Subway → Eat Fresh KFC → Finger Lickin’ Good Coca-Cola → Open Happiness Pepsi → For the Love of It Ford → Built Tough BMW → The Ultimate Driving Machine Audi → Vorsprung durch Technik (translated: “Advancement through technology”) Mercedes-Benz → The Best or Nothing Volkswagen → Drivers Wanted Jaguar → Grace, Space, Pace FedEx → The World on Time Disney → The Happiest Place on Earth Lego → Play On eBay → Buy It. Sell It. Love It. Visa → Everywhere You Want to Be Mastercard → There Are Some Things Money Can’t Buy De Beers → A Diamond Is Forever M&M’s → Melts in Your Mouth, Not in Your Hand Red Bull → Gives You Wings Burger King → Have It Your Way Dove → Real Beauty Netflix → See What’s Next Spotify → Music for Everyone BBC → Inform. Educate. Entertain. LinkedIn → Connect to Opportunity YouTube → Broadcast Yourself None of those lines are complicated. But every single one connects.Instantly. Simple is memorable. Simple is powerful.Simple scales. If you need a paragraph to explain your business, you haven’t yet got a business that connects. If you can’t pick up your phone right now

Another great book featured in this weeks Book review:
Good to Great by Jim Collins is not just another business book. It is one of the most important studies on leadership and long term performance ever written. Built on five years of research across 1,435 companies, it proved one truth. Great companies are not built on personality. They are built on structure, discipline and the right people. I first encountered this book when I was Head of Shops and Marketing at Jet Petrol Stations. It was mandatory reading for every senior leader. It shaped how we recruited, how we built teams and how we thought about growth. It is still as relevant today as it was then. If you are serious about building a business that lasts If you want performance without chaos If you want a team that takes ownership and moves with purpose This book will change how you lead. The full review is now live on the link below... Short. Practical. No theory. If you lead a business and want to build something great not fragile, take a look. https://www.skool.com/thegrowthsyndicate/classroom/84055912?md=d55d181c0ca649db94536591be38f9ba
