๐ŸซŸ It's Leak Week!
You crunched the numbers for Feb and realized you haven't moved forward as much as you'd hoped. Maybe you were hoping to hit: โ€ข more community members โ€ข more signups to your coaching program โ€ข more folks in your masterclass โ€ข more speaking engagements โ€ข more email subscribers You're doing all the things - posting, engaging, commenting, helping, pitching, revamping and yet... it feels like you're crawling forward at a ๐ŸŒ pace. The culprit? There's a leak somewhere in your funnel. You may not think you even HAVE a funnel, but if you're trying to do any of the above things... you do. It just doesn't look like you imagine a funnel to look. This week in Funnel Forensics we're taking a long, intentional, and honest look at our marketing funnels. Figuring out where folks are dropping out. And where we can make their experience better and their journey smoother, so they can get the outcomes THEY want, and you can get the income YOU want. The first step of leak week is a simple (but perhaps not easy!) reflection. Think of the last great client you had. Someone you really enjoyed working with, serving, helping. โ“What specifically were they trying to fix? โ“What had they already tried? โ“What were they frustrated about? โ“What were they Googling? โ“Who were they watching/listening to? โ“And what did they think the solution was? This is such a great practice and reminder to stop and reflect @Kim Job - i feel like i'm always charging ahead to the next thing. One thing I'm proud of this month is recognizing that something that's been transformative for my business no longer serves me โ€“ and making the decision to release it. I feel like I exhaled, fully.

@Chris Suckling Yep and what i see as a failure to understand what constitutes "value" and how much of it to give. People think that the key to building a loyal following that will then buy, is to just give away everything for free. After all - that's what Alex Hormozi's shtick is, right? But there is a difference between information and implementation. Tell people what (information) to do for free all damn day. But charge for the how (implementation) bits. And set CLEAR boundaries. In your community it's really tempting to answer all the questions asked, but you gotta know what is a free answer and what is a paid one. It's not being a dick (which it can feel like), it's just maintaining your boundaries and recognizing your worth.
โญ We Just Earned a Star โ€” And It Belongs to All of Us โญ
I'm going to be honest with you. Yesterday I was walking around, doing my thing, and I noticed a star next to my name on Skool. I thought, "What the heck is that?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Had to look it up. Turns out, Crust & Crumb Academy is now in the top 1% of ALL communities on Skool. Not bread communities. Not food communities. All of them. And we're wearing a 5-star rating right alongside it. โญโญโญโญโญ I basically Forrest Gumped my way into it. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ But here's the thing. I could be in here dancing a jig by myself and nobody would notice. This star doesn't belong to me. It belongs to every single one of you. Every comment you leave on a bake-along. Every photo you share, even the "ugly" ones ๐Ÿ˜„. Every time you answer someone's question before I even get to it. Every loaf you post that's a little better than the one before. That's what built this. Not me standing in front of a camera. You, showing up, doing the work, lifting each other up. ๐Ÿ™Œ Congratulations to every community wearing a star or carrying a 5-star rating. It's rare air. And we're enjoying every breath of it. ๐ŸŒŸ 380+ bakers in just over two months decided that a community built on coaching, not cheerleading, was worth their time. A place where "perfection is not required, progress is" isn't just a tagline. It's how we operate. ๐Ÿ’ช Now let's get back to baking.
