Today my youngest woke up as a 5 year old! I had one mission from the wife, when I wake up plugin the 4ft inflatable birthday cake. ✅ After that I went downstairs to follow my Sunday rituals of stretching and rolling out, but instead I stayed within earshot of his room doing some work with Skool. He woke up and I ran like he would, sounding like an elephant, and tackled him in excitement. I focused on him and tried to make him as excited as me. This is a win because a little later my wife thanked and appreciated me for the effort it took not to follow my routine. Building a future life is great, but being present today is the greatest. Thank you @Jon Hord for teaching me to be an Engaged Father.

I might be able to tie it in maybe? Thoughts? And it’s a bit more easy going. Not so intense. This is my first crack for our club. Wanting to get more traction for our club members on joining. I haven’t made the caption yet.

It's taken me several days to finish my homework for this step in the PreSkool launch process, but I feel really good about using this as a starting point. 💪 The goal here was to design the first 7 days for new members (i.e., how can I design a process that consistently engages them and helps to create a sticky experience they want to be a part of?) So with some great instruction and inspiration from @Brian Walsh, I designed 7 days of DM outreach with each day guiding and encouraging them to take a specific action that will build engagement: ✅ Make an introduction. ✅ Write their first post. ✅ Leave a few comments. ✅ Vote for the next podcast. ✅ Download their Podcast BINGO card. ✅ Post a Proud Dad Moment. ✅ Check out the Mid-Week Dad Drop-In calls. Whether or not these activities, events, and resources are what the community will ultimately want remains to be seen, but it's what I'm starting with. If any of you have advice or recommendations for how to structure weekly engagement calls, I'm all ears! 👂
