Class is in session!
PreSkool, powered by Skool Nerds, has just launched! Enroll and you will learn how to setup a community so that on day 1 people can get in and engage. This isn't a Done For You kind of thing, and it definitely isn't a passive course. We will ask hard questions, do intentional work and build the assets you need to launch. Need more details? Check out the What is PreSkool course in the classroom. Right now its free and 1 of the 3 slots are filled. Don't miss out.
What time do you run sessions?
Hi Skool Dads! Lots of my dads are USA based, so I'm grappling with the time zone issues between them and their Kiwi counterparts.... and some in Europe... Since most of you are in the USA, question for ya - how do you find people's attendance to live calls (an hour to 1 hour 15 mins long say) - is that usually only evenings for USA dads, or lunchtimes or early mornings get a decent buy in too? Thanks heaps guys!

The Real Reason Your Community Isn’t Making Money
📌FYI I ripped this from Evelyn's free community but she as this info in her paid community (which I joined about a week ago) This is the basis for many of the changes I've made in the last week. I decided to shit or get of the pot... I'll let ya'll know the results over next few weeks 😂 Evelyn writes: 👇 Most Skool community owners stay stuck in free forever because they're waiting for the wrong signals. Engagement, member count, a buzzing feed… None of those tell you you're ready to go paid. In this one I break down the traps that keep community owners waiting, and what replaces them. A bit of what's inside: 👉 Why engagement and marketability live in completely separate buckets 👉 What to actually sell on the front end to bring people into your community 👉The $10 to $15 ad test that tells you within 72 hours if your community is ready to go paid 👉 How to handle existing free members when you flip the switch You really are one good in-skool offer away from going paid. Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ4Ik6iyaJw&views Here’s the video guide. Are you still free or freemium? What's holding you back from going paid? Let me know in the comments 🤗
Today I caught the bug! 🐞
You guys are definitely doing something right 💪 I've been on Skool for ~6 months. Never found a community I really wanted to be part of. But this mission to help dads who help dads hits so close to home. So today I took the plunge: - Had a great day engaging in the posts. - Hopped on a zoom to connect with @Jon Peters. - Joined the Best Skool Dad Ever call. - And created the Charlotte Dads community. My primary community is more of a resource hub with a lot of course content and low/no engagement. Charlotte Dads will be the opposite, with a focus on daily engagement and relationship building. I love using podcasts to seed meaningful conversation, so my plan is to drop two episodes each week that we can discuss and debate in the threads. There are also a ton of local 5k/10k races here in Charlotte that would be great opportunities to meet up and connect in person. And, now that the weather is good, we can get back into paintball! 🫟 The men's group I'm part of started playing last year and it's been an unbelievably good time. There is so much accumulated wisdom in this group and I very much look forward to connecting with more of you and learning from @Brian Walsh, @James Blackburn, and @Ryan Carnohan as I go! Thanks for being here and for setting this direction! 🔥🔥🔥
