Desert theme first revision
First off I wanna say I greatly appreciate the feedback from the first post, I applied the necessary changes and overall I feel as if my track is that much closer to being finished. I am new to this style of music and have only been producing it for a few months now. I have experimented with ideas before but I’ve never actually gave it enough effort. Most ideas got abandoned in the wasteland of no return. However I am here to show the new and improved version of my track. I really analyzed the feedback and applied it to the track. I emphasized more energy towards the second half of the track. I decided that the first part of the track is more of the player searching and discovering. It feels pretty open and honestly I couldn’t quite figure out if it was missing something still or just over thinking. I really thought about the direction the track is heading and I opted in for a more action packed second half to signify a tense more dramatic feel almost as if the player has stumbled around the bosses lair. Again class I am here for help and feedback though I feel my track is about 80% complete. Be honest with me and help me elaborate on new ideas to help finish this first segment. I feel like now that the volume is up some elements are more apparent. Where can I go from this? Should I add more melodies to help fill in some space or add more ambiance or texture? How does the mix sound? Does it help convey the theme and story a bit better? Or does it still feel like our hero is lost astray? https://s.disco.ac/azrkuuubfpbx

I have been taking care of house guests for a few days, and may not be active for another couple of days, but I will definitely chime in. Sorry for the delay!

@Kaleb Blackard I just got Composer Cloud. I am eager to do CC programming, and want to learn it as soon as I can!
Podcast update - two big guests locked in
As of this morning, I've confirmed conversations with two incredible guests: JMO is VP of Creative at The Bus Music, a boutique Nashville-based music publishing company. He built his foundation in film/TV and digital operations at BMI and has secured sync placements with Netflix, Hulu, HBO, NBC, ABC, Google, and Nike for artists including Megan Thee Stallion and Mary J. Blige - with music appearing in Grey's Anatomy, The Rookie, Insecure, Cobra Kai, and hundreds more. Heather Evans is a prolific, award-winning singer/songwriter and sync educator who has placed her independent music on Netflix (First Kill, Love Is Blind), MTV (Teen Mom 2), NBC (La Brea promo), Disney, FOX (So You Think You Can Dance), and Nickelodeon - all without traditional representation. She's also the latest addition to the Glow Music Group team. More details coming soon.

Terrific!
🏆 Member Spotlight - Week 3
Three people stood out this week, not for having it all figured out, but for doing the work in public and keeping the conversation moving forward. @Tyree Newton took real action this week, submitting to AudioSparx and Pond5 and building the foundation that sync income is built on. He was also open about how draining the metadata grind is, and that honesty matters. The composers seeing real traction are sitting on 50-100+ tracks across multiple libraries, and Tyree is laying that groundwork right now. 🔥 @Adam Nelson came in, shared his music without hesitation, and jumped straight into a real conversation about Taxi, sync briefs, and what's actually marketable. @Tim Jeffcoat flagged your stomp/clap tracks as something that comes up on briefs repeatedly. That's exactly the kind of feedback worth acting on. Pull those out of mothballs. 🎯 @Virgil Cash finished 6 tracks last week, already has two mixes in progress this week, and still took time to encourage everyone else in the Monday thread. That's the standard. Productive and community-minded. 💪 Three different stages, three different approaches, all moving forward. Who's next? Drop what you're working on below. 👇

👑The Classroom is a goldmine👑 Make sure you're using it!!!
Hey everyone - found out recently that even some folks in the Accelerator weren't aware of everything inside the Classroom. So I clipped a quick walkthrough and wanted to share it here with all of you. ✨This is a constantly expanding resource built for you. When you show up in this community, the Classroom is one of the first places you should go. It's packed with tools, guides, and material I put together specifically to help you move forward with sync - and it's all yours to utilize just for showing up here. ✨My whole thing is delivering as much value as possible at no cost. The Classroom is a big part of that.✨ On a related note - if you're looking for more structure, accountability, and direct coaching, I run a monthly group called The Sync Vault Accelerator ($97/month). Tim, Dawn, Jen, and Kaleb are already in there doing the work together. Just something to be aware of if you're ready to go deeper. If you want more information about that, just shoot me a DM and/or make sure to book your strategy and onboarding call so you can make sure that you're getting the most out of this community

We do now!
Just Accepted in AudioSparx, now what? 😶
Hey everyone, I just completed a small playlist of tracks to submit to music licensing companies and music libraries. So I was able to submit to a few sites like pond 5 and AudioSparx. I'm waiting for my account to be procressed with Pond5 and was I accepted by AudioSparx. Has anyone ever worked with AudioSparx before? Secondly, this submission game is draining. Lol Uploading all the metadata and info. Then you research music sites only to see they aren't acceping music right now. It also eems like a lot of libraries close submissions for the first quarter.

Hi Tyree. I've had stuff on Pond 5 for a couple of years and have earned $6.81. The product I have on there might not be all that great - your stuff is probably more relevant - but I just didn't get any traction. Zillions of tracks on there, and hard to get heard... was my experience
