Hi! I am a newbie, to this group but also to making a YouTube channel. I browsed the classroom and it said ‘name it after yourself not your brand’. Is that because when you start a different brand it’s still applicable in your channel? Actually I really DONT want the channel to have my name. I kind of want to start this outside the eye of friends/family. It’s shame, I know. But if I can teuly understand WHY to use my own name, I might. Hey! Currently working on a (re)launch with a buddy of mine who has ~75k subs but has not posted in a LONG time. So it is basically a dead channel. We thought about making 3-5 videos and seeing how things develop. Obviously we would report here after the fact. There are great ideas here. So we wanted to ask if you have any suggestions. It's in the addiction support niche. The 3-5 videos that we plan to make to restart his channel are: 1. X lessons I made / I wish I knew when I started kind of video drawing from his years of being sober - would also lend itself to posting on his other social media since it is a list of things he learned over the past years 2. His story, just shaped up nicely with editing and storytelling (he usually did unedited talking head videos) 3. "I studied 1000 client strategies, here is why they are relapsing" 4. At least that's my favorite way of going about it.
