TOXIC OIL THURSDAY
If your pan is smoking, your mitochondria probably are too. And unlike you, they can’t take a personal day. THE CLINICAL TRUTH Your body isn’t dramatic. It’s just biochemical. When unstable oils hit heat, three things happen: - Lipid peroxidation: Translation: the fats break apart and turn into tiny metabolic gremlins your liver has to chase with a broom. - Aldehyde formation: These compounds irritate your cells the way a toddler irritates a closed bathroom door. - Membrane disruption: Your cell membranes get floppy and confused, like WiFi with one bar. And because every community uses the same physiology, the chaos shows up differently: - Parents: “Why does my kid turn into a gremlin after nuggets?” - Engineers: “Why does my brain lag like a 2008 laptop?” - Creators: “Why do I get existential dread between takes?” - Grad students: “Why does my focus evaporate mid‑paragraph?” - Founders: “Why does my stress tolerance swing like a crypto chart?” - Baristas: “Why am I wired, tired, and emotionally spicy?” Different lives. Same biochemistry. Same oils causing the same metabolic soap opera. That's just a small piece of the information. Someone asked me.... Why join your community when I can look this stuff up myself? Totally fair question. And here’s the honest answer: 1. Google gives you information. I give you interpretation. You can Google “aldehydes” and get a chemistry textbook. You join my community and get: - what aldehydes do to your mood - why your 2 PM crash isn’t a personality flaw - how to fix it without turning your life upside down Information is free. Understanding is rare. 2. The internet gives you contradictions. I give you clarity. Try Googling “best oil to cook with.” You’ll get: - 12 conflicting blog posts - 80 different articles - 4 influencers yelling - 1 guy on Reddit recommending motor oil Inside my community, you get physiology explained cleanly, clinically, and with humor, not chaos. 3. Google won't know your life. I will.

Nicely put. I like the simple way you break this down for people. It sounds like we are in the same camp. I'm a functional registered dietitian nutritionist and help people translate scientific information into their daily lives since we are either creating health or creating disease by our lifestyle choices.

One simple lesson I learned running my first Pinterest challenge inside Limitless Life: 👉 Momentum beats perfection. Every single time. I hosted a short Pinterest challenge with: - 5 people registered - 4 showed up live - 4 upgraded to VIP - 1 asked for 1:1 support - 3 asked for another workshop And here’s the part that matters most… I didn’t overbuild it. I didn’t wait until it was “perfect.” I focused on one clear outcome and gave people something they could actually implement that day. Mindset shift: You don’t need a huge audience or flawless systems to get results. You need clarity, a container, and the courage to go first. Simple strategy another group owner can use today: Run a small, time-bound challenge focused on solving ONE problem — then listen closely to what people ask for next. #BreakingNews No One Is Coming To Save Us
One of the biggest mindset shifts I ever had was realising this: No one is coming to save us from the modern diet or lifestyle. Not the government. Not the food industry. Not health professionals. The way we live, eat, and work isn’t going to change anytime soon and waiting for it to only keeps you stuck. That’s when I realised it was on me to understand why modern food and habits were making me unwell, and to take responsibility for my own health. Not through extremes or willpower but through learning how my body actually works and making changes that fit the world we live in. Once you accept that responsibility, everything shifts. Great minds think alike. Preach it brother. Our body was not designed to handle the level of toxins we are exposed to today, from our food, air, water, chemicals we use on our bodies, and cleaning products. Crap foods, toxins and stress are the 3 biggest drivers of chronic diseases. It is up to us to change how we feed ourselves, what things we allow on our skin and doing stress-lowering strategies.
