Letâs rethink the usual âNew Year, New Me.â
How about new year, SAME me?
Growth doesnât mean changing who you are, it means continuing to build on the person you already are and the direction youâre heading in. Let's head into 2026 with this new motto of 'New Year, Same Me', not waiting for 1st January to start becoming who you want to be and where you want to go.
Weâre in the final stretch. The holidays bring excitement, busy schedules and plenty of food and this is when many people abandon their goals. But you donât need a new year to start fresh. You can enjoy the season and stay consistent by shifting your mindset.
đ§ Seasonal Mindset: Balance, Not Perfection
Instead of âIâll start again in January,â try Old Thinking VS New Mindset Strategy
For example:
âEverything is off routine, so why bother?â VS âSmall steps still count.â
âI ruined it with one meal.â VS âOne choice doesnât erase progress.â
Your goal isnât to be perfect, just intentional.
â Choose 2â3 Non Negotiable's.
E.g. A short workout, proper sleep, water intake, or 2-3 sessions. Keep what matters most.
đ˝ď¸ Follow the 80/20 Rule
Nourishing choices 80% of the time, holiday treats without guilt 20% of the time.

Plan Your Priorities First
Schedule your workouts, meals or downtime before filling your calendar with events. As most of you know, I am a SUCKER for Google Calendar and plan every single hour to the minute of where my priorities lie.
⨠Reflect Weekly
Ask yourself:
- What went well?
- What can I improve?
- Whatâs one step Iâll take next week?
đ Finish the Year With Intention, Not Pressure
You donât need to change your entire life in a month. You just need to stay present, aware and consistent with small steps. The goal is to enter the New Year proud, not drained or regretful.
This season is a test of mindset, not willpower. Every choice you make now is a gift for your future self.
đ Comment below your priorities and focus before heading into the new year, SAME YOU. đâ¨
