This was a big goal for me. It stretched me, and changed me.
Did I make &25k? Nope.
Did I make $10k? Nope.
Did I make $1k? Nope.
I made $330.
And that’s only because my mom hired me to be her personal trainer. (That’s my bachelors degree coming in clutch).
In the month of May I had 21 sales calls. Some were no shows, some were unqualified, but at that volume, I should have had some closes.
So here are three things I learned:
1- I need to work on my sales and discovery skills. (I am going through the training right now and will be practicing)
2- I need to do more in person networking, since 8 of those calls came as a result of in person events.
3- I need to make a plan in order to reach a goal, it isn’t going to automatically happen if I just focus on volume without direction.
I would love to hop on calls with some people to practice sales calls. Does anyone else feel like they would benefit from some kind of practice session of sorts?
So what now?
New month, same goal. But this time I’m making a plan and have a better foundation to start from.
