I haven’t posted much here (yet!) and am one of "the lurkers" (lol). But, after digging in and testing/implementing, just wanted to share how I'm synthesizing the frameworks being shared here 🤘
I took the Focus Framework and Constraint Breaker systems and fused them with a master focus system that helps my ADHD brain feel less like I'm juggling chainsaws.
What this does for me: Keeps my week clean, priorities obvious, and momentum compounding.
1) Daily cadence (protects my brain):
- 7:45 Start Ritual: ask, “What’s my one priority today?”
- 8:00–10:30 Deep Work: one high-leverage task, no Slack, no meetings, no “quick peeks.”
- 10:30–2:30 Teams/Calls: collaborate, delegate, unblock.
- 2:30 Wrap Ritual: log wins, set tomorrow’s single focus.
- Friday 8:00: run the Constraint Breaker.
2) H.A.R.D. Prioritization (how I pick “the one”): Score a task 0–3 on each: Harm if not done, Aftershock gain, Revenue juice, Delay cost.
- 0–4 = later or delegate
- 5–8 = schedule
- 9–12 = do first
Example: “Fix onboarding SOP bottleneck” → H3 A3 R2 D3 = 11. That wins the morning.
3) My 3P Leverage Pyramid (sequence matters):
Process → People → Product. Fix systems and automation first, then enable the team, then polish the deliverable. Don’t climb until Process is clean.
4) Constraint Breaker (weekly unblock):
Run a fast 4D: Diagnose root cause (5 Whys) → Decide one constraint → Design the simplest fix (automate, delegate, eliminate) → Deploy a v1 by EOD Friday. Ship ugly. Iterate next week.
My week at a glance:
Mon–Tue = Process (SOPs, automations)
Wed = People (train, delegate, hire)
Thu–Fri = Product (ship the thing) + Friday 4D
Rules that keep me honest:
- Score once. Pick one. Ship one. Repeat.
- Deep Work is a meeting with yourself. You wouldn’t miss it.
- Define the Minimum Complete Deliverable before you start.
- Simplicity beats clever. Version 1 today > perfect someday.
