Elon Musk is one of the greatest entrepreneurs of this time period. His success came from the level of urgency he had.
He once said,
"If you give yourself 30 days to clean your apartment, it will take you 30 days. If you give yourself 3 hours, it will take you 3 hours. The same applies to your goals. If you give yourself 10 years to make progress, it will take you 10 years. But if you give yourself 6 months, you’ll make 10 years of progress in 6 months.”
I'm gonna share with you the 3 ways I applied this mindset to go from almost homeless & eating canned food to 18k/m in deals with my coaching business.

Thing #1
Saying NO. I used to live back in Austin, TX. Work a 9-5 job, and the people around me all give me this identity that wasn't me. I would get invited to concerts, parties & it always seemed like my focus was being pulled everywhere. The people that I hang out with didn't have the same goals as me, but because they identified my past self with the current me, it was holding me back from achieving the things I want to achieve.
I had to start relentlessly saying NO. I had to make a commitment deep within my heart on an emotional level that I was going all in...
Within a month, I got more done than I had in 3 months. I even took this a step further and cut a flight across America just to focus. It wasn't easy; I almost went homeless in the process, but I made it happen. All from creating a situation where I HAD to make it happen.
Thing #2
I removed ALL excuses from my brain & took ABSOLUTE accountability
Napoleon Bonaparte was a great leader who built one of the largest empires in his time.
He once said, "Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools”. This made me realize that whenever my mind came up with ANY excuses, I became a slave to my own mind. So I made "Impossible" commitments to myself, like waking up at 4:30 AM every day for over 400 days straight to have extra time to work on my business. I worked 3 jobs to fund my business. I stopped letting thoughts that weren't aligned with who I want to be enter my mind. After putting in the right reps, I was able to get my first fitness client in no time.
Thing #3
Collapse Time Through Ruthless Focus on ONE Vehicle
When I saw no progress in my business, I wanted to chase every shiny thing, new side hustles, random offers, and try to do 10 things at once.
But the truth is, divided focus = divided results.
I realized the fastest way to “make 10 years of progress in 6 months” was to collapse all of my energy into one vehicle. For me, that was my coaching business.
That meant:
- I stopped “dabbling” in other side hustles, distractions & systems
- I created one offer and sold it every single day.
- I built one system and repeated it until it worked.
The moment I stopped splitting my attention, everything compounded. In 1 month, I went from struggling to monetize my coaching business to pulling in $18K/month in deals.
So these 3 things allowed me to make more progress in a few months than I ever did, & I'm still applying it as we scale even more 🚀
Cheers to your success
