Why I’m building my own specialized agents
I feel like there’s so much waste right now when I’m using something like openclaw to do a very simple specific task. For example I’ll get it to “add a quote “ to my quote collection in Obsidian Or to “add an expense” to my bookkeeping system These should be specialized workflow-oriented agents. I think I could easily spin up an app with a pi backend system to do this. Might make it into a course. What do you think? Would you be interested? Also let me know if you have (a) advice or (b) questions

What is your favorite coding agent?
I asked you about this when you signed up! ALSO please comment below: - WHAT one specifically? (if Cursor, Gemini, OpenCode, etc..) - WHY is it your favorite? Thanks everyone, I'm really looking forward to seeing what people around the world are using

Should I learn Go, Neo Vim, and a split keyboard now?
Hey everyone! 👋 Context: I’m in my first month as a fullstack developer. At my current job, we’re working on a project with this stack: • Database: SQL Server • Backend: Node.js + Express • Frontend: React Native • All in TypeScript I don’t use Go at work, so everything I’m planning to learn will be outside of working hours. I’m planning to: 1. Learn Go 2. Learn Neo Vim 3. Learn typing on a split keyboard (Moonlander or Voyager) for more layers and productivity I chose this path because I think 1–1.5 years in, this combo will be a strong skill set. But I’m hesitant because of AI code generation, code writing isn’t that great yet, and I’m not sure if investing in a Moonlander/Voyager now is worth it. Question: Is it a good idea to go for this path (Go + Neo Vim + split keyboard) right now, or is it better to wait / focus on other things first? Please answer in bullet points covering: • Starting to learn Go • Starting to learn Neo Vim • Learning to type on a Moonlander or Voyager I’d really appreciate your take on whether this is a good thing to do or not!
What are you working on?
1) share what you’re building right now AND 2) post a photo of your workspace setup PS. If you’re working on multiple things then please share the one that’s most fun ;)
Should I refresh on JavaScript/TypeScript to build AI solutions?
It's been a while since I've touched JavaScript/TypeScript. I've been programming almost exclusively in Python for the last several years in my role as a data engineer at our company. From what I see, more and more AI tools and libraries are being written in JavaScript. Is it worth refreshing on JS / TS or can you still succeed with just knowing Python.
