📌 The Other Side Of The Meme
A friend of mine shared this today in another group:
"YOU are the ONLY person you need to change your life. You have all the tools and resources you need to start right now."
The message was paired with the image below; well-meaning, but critically flawed.
While I agree with the intention, the fact is many, perhaps most, people struggle with motivation, action, and the knowledge necessary to succeed on their journey. Be mindful of memes that sound wise, raise your hopes, but leave you stuck; mired in overwhelm, procrastination, and self-doubt.
An experienced and knowledgeable coach, guide, or mentor can provide the support you really need. While YOU are undoubtedly key to the process and must certainly be engaged in it, do not be seduced by meaningful sounding words that do not deliver on their promise!
