I Recovered 3 Cartoon Drawings From Way Back When
I have a box full of drawings from my childhood, which I would like to create a book from. In a YouTube video entitled, “Visual Interpretations of 3 Classic Cartoon Characters!”, I am showcasing 3 drawings with my own spin on them. In this video, there is a bit of verbal history in relation to the classic characters being drawn. May this video encourage you to uncover and revisit your old drawings, perhaps with a bit of nostalgia.

Rebooting by Drawing Cartoons
Remember the books you used to learn how to create art, especially those related to drawing or painting? I’ve recently obtained books from my childhood—𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴, and 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘸 50 𝘍𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘴, by Lee J. Ames. They have rekindled a desire to draw and sketch regularly, much like I used to do in the past. I have a recent YouTube video which features one of these books, which encourages artists to revisit the material which they began to learn from. The video, "If You Grew Up Drawing Cartoons, This One’s for You 🎨”, also has amusing outtakes, which a number of people told me they enjoy. Post your books here! What started you on your journey? What books have you picked up to continue expanding about what you know?

The YouTube channel is live!
Hey everyone! There is now a new YouTube channel for Your Creative Reboot! As of this post, I now have 3 videos up. They speak about the importance of community, as well as the kinds of artists for which community will be helpful to shift out of creative blocks. In addition, I share a painting I created many years ago—one that has been sitting in a portfolio. Each video is between 4-7 minutes. I invite you to check these out! While I am working on my next few videos, I would like to know from you—what types of content would you like to see in this community? What would help you as an artist?
What’s Coming to Your Creative Reboot
Hello artists! I wanted to share a few things that I am working on/planning for Your Creative Reboot. I’m inspired by the energy already beginning to take shape, especially as I connect with a number of you out there in the “real world.” Here’s what’s coming soon: 🎨 1. The Studio Muse will be moved to the Classroom You’ll soon find The Studio Muse (our creative GPT companion) in the Classroom section, along with a short video showing how to use it. This will make it easier for everyone to access and get the most from it. 📱 2. Help with Instagram visibility A few of you have mentioned to how overwhelming Instagram can feel — from posting your art to actually being seen. I’m planning to put together a new Classroom resource that will walk through simple, clear ways to share your work there. 💡 3. What would you love to see here? I want Your Creative Reboot to be shaped by what matters to you. What kinds of lessons, tools, or creative support would help you most right now? Drop your thoughts in the comments; I’d love to hear them. 🎬 4. The YouTube Channel in the works! I’m currently editing a couple of videos for the YouTube channel of Your Creative Reboot — another way to keep you inspired and connected to creative momentum. 👋 5. If you’re new here…
Don’t be shy! We’d love to know who you are.
