Have You Had a "Pending Subscriber"?

I changed a few things in my Substack Welcome Email and the only way I can see how a new subscriber sees it is if I actually subscribe. Well, I used one of my non-business emails and subscribed.

After about 5 minutes, I hadn't received the Welcome email from Substack and went to look to see if the new sub was on my subscribers list and it said "You have 1 pending new subscriber. It may take a few minutes for new subscribers to appear in the table below."

I'm wondering why it's Pending so I asked support. Here's the answer: "A new subscriber may appear as "pending" if their subscription is still being processed by the system. This status is usually temporary and should update within 24 hours...."

This one is new to me. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen?
