Hades.
The man of the underworld.
The man of silence.
The man of depth.
When the brothers divided the world,
Zeus took the sky.
Poseidon took the sea.
Hades took the underworld.
What is hidden.
Dark.
Unspoken.
And he became king.
Not every man needs to be seen.
Hades does not force the room
to notice him.
He is simply there.
Quiet.
Heavy.
Deep.
His strength is not in his voice.
His strength is in what he can carry within.
Hades does not belong on the surface.
He belongs in depth.
Where people are afraid to go.
Where the shadow is met.
Where truth is born.
His gift is inner wealth.
His shadow is isolation.
Because a man who lives only in his inner world
can forget to return to the living.
Hades is not weak because he is quiet.
He is strong because he is not afraid of depth.
