Hello
Hey! I'm Sylvia I'm starting to practice as a birth doula based around the philosophy of Do Nothing - originally I found this from Masanobu Fukuoka's Do Nothing Farming which can be applied to anything in life and I believe applies to birth. I'm really interested in old skills like birth support, farming, foraging, cooking, bookbinding, weaving, all sorts of crafting etc ! I'm really keen to have some community through world pool!

Anyone else find that the day after a really good practice or breakthrough, you can feel a bit stirred up emotionally and/or physically, and feel not so flowing the next day?

Qigong Thoughtz
The focus of my practice tends to cycle through the different areas or layers of life: body, mind, emotions, consciousness itself etc. Today I really needed to get in touch with my emotional qi. The practice in my local group on Wednesday was powerful, and I felt a bunch of energy released into my body that started to emerge in emotional reactions to things. I think both things might also have to do with the work I've been doing with the land in my local area, which maybe I'll write a separate post about. So I did ~25mins of Push Mountain to open up the qi in my whole body, then sat and did about 45mins of Hunyuan Palace Breathing to integrate the released emotional energy back into useful qi. Hence today has been a great productive day with clear, positive outlook 👍
