Finding your niche is honestly one of the hardest parts of starting a channel. I changed my niche at least 7 times before I landed on what I do now (helping people start and grow their YouTube channels). If you’re struggling to find yours, I want to help you get there faster.
In the meantime, here are some questions to get the wheels turning. Drop your answers in the comments and let’s figure this out together! 👇
- What kind of YouTube videos do YOU like to watch?
- Why do you like those types of videos?
- Are they something you think you could make? Why or why not?
- What are 3 things you’re really good at or very knowledgeable about?
- What do people come to YOU for advice on?
- What is something you get paid to do that you have real experience with?
- Is there a problem you’ve already solved that others are still struggling with?
- Could you talk about your topic for the next two years without running out of ideas?
- Who would your ideal viewer be; what does their life look like?
- What would you make videos about even if nobody watched? 😅
Think on these! Write down your answers, and let’s figure out your niche. You got this 💪
