@Meaghan Vaughan Beautiful writing. I was skeptical of crystals to the point of ridicule when I bore the shadow. She was shattered, too. Recently, I truly learned the subtle power of crystals. I used a large Indigo Smokey Fluorite for a 3rd eye cleansing, as a request to the Divine, burning a yellow candle to completion, honoring my intention to seek alignment with YHVH as Source of Love. I've been wearing Lapus Lazuli around my neck, bringing Shiva energy in me to 3D from where I've been. 9. Hermit energy. It forms most of the numerology of my name and birthday. Lapus Lazuli resonates. In 3D, at a molecular level, fluorite can be used to manufacture HFl, hydrofluoric acid. Lapis Lazuli's color reminds me of the deep waters at the Threshold bottom of the ocean in the light, and is my favorite color. I choose to respect both perspectives. In the quantum, past the veil to the dense Threshold at planck length, the crystals speak there, too, and to what's next. In the end, intention matters most in this in between. Thank you for sharing. What do you actually want? It sounds like a simple question. Sometimes, it is. But sometimes our wants have layers. There are the things we want because we genuinely desire them. There are things we learned to want because an earlier version of ourselves believed they were important. There are things we think we should want because of expectations we've absorbed from other people, our circumstances, our culture, or the person we imagine we're supposed to become. And then there are the paths we've committed ourselves to. Sometimes they're deeply aligned. Sometimes they're partly aligned but carrying expectations that have accumulated around them. Sometimes we've simply become so accustomed to being on a particular path that changing direction feels almost unthinkable. I created "The Want Beneath the Want" to explore the influences surrounding our desires. This isn't a spread designed to tell you what you want. In fact, I deliberately chose not to include that question. That's something I think belongs to us. Instead, the cards can help us examine the layers surrounding our wanting: what we've inherited from previous versions of ourselves, what we're prescribing to ourselves now, what expectations we're projecting onto the person we're becoming, and what else may be keeping us attached to the paths we're pursuing. The intention isn't to decide that everything from our past is outdated or that everything we imagine for our future is merely an expectation. Our former selves can carry wisdom, and our future aspirations can contain genuine desire. The point is simply to become curious about where our wants came from and what is influencing them now. The Want Beneath The Want 1. The Inheritance What am I carrying forward from an earlier version of myself? 2. The Residue How is that inheritance still shaping my choices? 3. The Prescription What am I telling myself I should want? 4. The Source What lies beneath that expectation? 5. The Projection What expectation of my future self is influencing me?

A Halloween Night at the Threshold Saturday, October 31 | 3:00 PM Central This Halloween, we're doing something a little different for Community Connect. As the year turns toward its darker half and we approach Samhain, we'll gather for an evening of Halloween fun, a little mystery, and a shared ceremony inspired by the idea of the veil between worlds. Across traditions, Samhain has long been associated with remembrance, transformation, and the threshold between what has been and what is yet to come. Whether you approach these ideas spiritually, symbolically, or simply with curiosity, there's a place for you in this gathering. Our central activity will be The Altar of Almost Anything — a chance to create a small, personal altar using objects that represent three themes: - Memory & Inheritance: Something connected to your past, your history, or the people and experiences that have shaped you. - The Veil & The In-Between: Something representing mystery, transition, duality, or the spaces between things. - Magic & Possibility: Something connected to creation, potential, spiritual connection, or whatever magic means to you. You'll also want something to arrange your objects on or in — a plate, bowl, tray, small table, or whatever suits your style. And if you'd like to decorate your altar with additional objects, crystals, herbs, ornaments, keepsakes, or Halloween touches, by all means, indulge your imagination! We'll share our creations, explore the meanings behind our chosen objects, and bring the evening's ceremony to a close with a blessing. Then we'll leave our altars assembled overnight as a little tribute to the threshold and the mysteries of this particular night. A few things to know: - Costumes are welcome, but absolutely optional. Come as a witch, a wizard, a wandering spirit, or simply yourself. - Participation in every part of the gathering is voluntary. You're welcome to share, observe, or simply enjoy the company. - This is not a séance or an attempt to contact anything or anyone. No messages, experiences, or special abilities are expected. We're here to celebrate, remember, create, and make room for wonder.
