Most peaceful rockhounding spot
The spot I grew up going to look for rocks is the north shore of Lake Superior. I feel such a sense of peace when I'm on the big lake. I love listening to the waves hit the shore while I'm looking for agates or sea glass. So much of the material has been picked over, but when the water level is low, you can access beaches that haven't been picked over as much. Here are some pictures of "Grandpa Ken's beach" - it's now a part of Tettegouche State park on the north shore, but we used to go there before it was state park property. It's one of my favorite beaches up there!! đ€©
