Soooo, I've shared some of the highlights from changing my script a little and had 2 follow up calls scheduled yesterday. During the call, 1 said he wasn't interested in selling the property I called on but was interested in purchasing another investment property. The 2nd stated that the property I called on was already under contract. I noticed during the call that he was a little "rushy"...talking fast as if he was in a hurry. However, I asked if he had anything else that he would be interested in selling. He said yes, a multi family complex so I asked if I could call him back the next day since he sounded as if he was in a rush. He said yes....
*The next day* the 1st one didn't pick up the phone, read my first text, but not my second one (I could see his read receipt) and sent me to voicemail twice. The 2nd one, texted to say that he was stuck in a meeting but wouldn't provide an alternate time. I've since notated their accounts in XLeads and put them both on a follow up task for next month.
I was a little frustrated yesterday because the 2nd one appears to be a developer after doing research and I really wanted to pitch another deal to him in perhaps to pick up a 2-fer. All is not lost, this still may be possible later.
Anywho, I'll be back to the grind, smiling and dialing this weekend because at some point in time, something will POP!!! And when it does- it will be on like POPCORN!!!
