This week in Café Conversations, we explored the power of community. Why do people join communities? And why do some people avoid them? Our discussion revealed common barriers such as fear of judgment, uncertainty, pride, shame, and simply not knowing what to expect. Yet we also talked about the incredible value of having a space where people can show up authentically, share openly, and feel supported. One participant shared that Café Conversations is one of the best ways to start the week. Others described the importance of being in a community where they can speak freely, learn from others, and realize they are not alone in their experiences. Community creates connection.
