Evergreen Content vs Trending Content

Which is better? It depends. A trending video can lead to your evergreen content getting views. That is what I am experiencing. I posted a video that was getting suggested by another creator that posted about a trending topic. That video led to other people starting to watch my evergreen content.

The views on the video linked to the trending topic video have slowed down. However, the video with the evergreen topic is still getting views.
