Defence against a frontal choke
Another good self-decense tip. Notice how she doesn't just raise her arm but she lifts her whole side up so she can put her weight into the blow.
Reminder to be careful while practicing and do things slowly at first to reduce the risk of injury.
Always stretch before hand.
I tried this with my wife and also did it on my knees to simulate the height of a child. Thanks to the angle created with a standing adult, this move seems to work even for children but consider the strength advantage. If you have a child to try it with, let the group know if it actually works for them.
Also practice for a real life failure and have a contingency groin strike or shin kick as a second option to practice.
Train often. Train right.
