I’ve been scrolling through the posts in this community for a bit, and something keeps standing out to me. Everyone here has a different taste in watches — some love divers, some love dress pieces, some are into affordable beaters, others go deep into movements and complications — but the one thing we all seem to share is the story behind why a watch matters to us. It made me realize something: For most watch lovers, the piece itself is only half the reason. The meaning is the other half. Sometimes it’s the first watch you bought with your own money.
