The story is quite interesting. We have a business that operates almost exclusively in the US, we've set it up so that it doesn't even show up if you do a Google search from South Africa. So we were very surprised when we got an enquiry from a South African jewelry business. It turns out that the owner asked ChatGpt for an Airtable specialist in South Africa and it gave him a link to our website. On the call I discover that he is also the official stockist for Steinhart in South Africa. Once we quote him for the consulting he reminds us why we don't operate in South Africa. He pleads poverty and starts looking for discounts. Being a watch guy I made a deal of course, a discount on the price in exchange for this beautiful new watch.
