Tightness of Watch Bands

Wearing different watches and bands for the first time has got me thinking about best practices. I haven't needed to pay much attention to this in the past because I’ve never actively switched things up.

I’m mainly concerned about unintentional stretching of materials. Most of the options are unfamiliar to me. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this and on any other related factors I should consider.
