Since we are often shopping for watches...
Hey everyone,
I recently watched this video on watch buying strategies. While some of the information was familiar, I found a few new tips that were quite helpful.
As someone who has bought watches new, used, from authorized dealers (ADs), from the grey market, and even participated in Watchgang events, I can definitely say that having a strategy and doing your research can save you a lot of money. And not doing so can cost you.
What buying strategies have worked best for you?
Do you prefer buying new, used, or from the grey market?
Have you participated in Watchgang events? How was your experience?
Are you building any strategies for the future or have some you would share? I know I have started a list of possible targets in Chrono24, to keep an eye on pricing trends (and apparently to find out my Garmin Fenix is worth more than I paid for it).
