Is this too good to be true?

Hi everyone,

Just quick question, as I’ve been offered a role that sounds almost too good to be true.

Earlier this week, I received an email from a company called Nova Publishing, asking for a voiceover for a project. I replied to them earlier this morning, asking for further details, and I’ve just received the follow up email, describing the project. The production that they need help with, is for a Spotify immersive drama with a final fee of $2,500. The creative director has offered me this role without asking for an audition or about the equipment that I use to record.

I’m extremely suspicious of this too good to be true offer, and wanted to know if this was, indeed, a scam (possibly a AI scam), or if anyone had heard and worked with Nova Publishing before?
