[Hiring] SEO Lead (Local SEO + Professional Services)
FOCUS: Local SEO + Professional Services + Strategy
TYPE: Remote — Contract or Part-Time
The agency currently uses a white-label SEO provider for implementation. They’re seeking a strategic SEO Lead to take over direction, improve content quality, and lead high-level clients such as law firms, healthcare providers, and other service businesses.

🔥 WHO THEY’RE LOOKING FOR
A strategy-first SEO who excels at:
• Local SEO for service businesses
• High-authority link building & PAC-3 style campaigns
• Competitive analysis + SERP domination
• Creating custom SEO roadmaps (no templates)
• Directing white-label teams
• Understanding high-quality content (not necessarily writing it)
Ideal for someone with experience growing organic visibility for legal, healthcare, med-spa, or other high-intent service industries.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Audit current SEO work and rebuild strategy when needed
• Build monthly SEO roadmaps per client
• Direct white-label teams for technical execution
• Create content briefs, topic clusters, and on-page improvements
• Develop Local SEO dominance plans (GBP, citations, maps rankings, service areas)
• Guide internal team on keyword intent, messaging, and content structure
• Improve rankings across multiple clients
• Communicate clearly and strategically

✅ REQUIREMENTS
• 3–5+ years SEO experience (Local + Professional Services)
• Strong background in law firm, healthcare, or local service SEO
• Deep understanding of search intent, semantic structure, funnels
• Familiar with E-E-A-T, topical authority, link velocity, PAC-3
• Able to lead strategy (not just take tasks)
• Strong communicator

• Agency SEO leadership experience
• Experience with med-spa, healthcare, or legal marketing
• Ability to spot gaps missed by white-label teams
• Comfortable with GHL, Surfer, Ahrefs, GSC, GBP, etc.
