Role: Lead and scale product marketing strategy across Mend.io’s AI-native Application Security platform, owning positioning, category narrative, competitive strategy, analyst relations, and enterprise go-to-market execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
────────────────────────
Strategic Leadership: Define and evolve category positioning and differentiated value proposition, refine ICP segmentation across CISOs AppSec DevSecOps and engineering leaders, drive GTM strategy for launches and major releases, translate technical capabilities into business value for enterprise buyers.
Messaging & Positioning: Develop messaging frameworks aligned to verticals and use cases, own core messaging across web sales and campaigns, elevate thought leadership in open source security SCA and software supply chain security.
Sales Enablement & Revenue Acceleration: Build scalable enablement programs including playbooks battlecards ROI tools and objection frameworks, partner with Sales to increase win rates and shorten cycles, support enterprise deals with strategic messaging and competitive insights.
Product Launch & Portfolio Marketing: Lead cross-functional launch processes, ensure cohesive positioning across platform modules, influence roadmap via market insights.
Competitive & Market Intelligence: Establish structured competitive intelligence function, analyze industry and AppSec market trends, equip sales with actionable differentiation.
Analyst & Industry Influence: Lead analyst relations across Gartner Forrester IDC, represent company at industry events and executive briefings.
Team Leadership: Build and mentor high-performing PMM team, establish measurable goals tied to pipeline contribution win rates and product adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS
────────────────────────
Qualifications: 10–15+ years B2B SaaS marketing experience with 5+ years in senior product marketing leadership, strong cybersecurity AppSec or DevSecOps background, experience marketing to enterprise CISOs and security leaders, proven success scaling product marketing in growth-stage companies, experience supporting complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, strong executive storytelling and communication skills, analytical mindset leveraging performance and market data, operational systems familiarity (SFDC Jira), experience influencing industry analysts, comfort leveraging AI-enabled tools and LLMs to drive efficiency.
