A tourism & storytelling brand in the Alaska travel niche is looking for a Marketing Virtual Assistant to support their digital presence on a long-term, monthly retainer basis.

🛠️ Responsibilities
Social Media
- Schedule posts (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
- Light engagement (comments & DMs)
- Create simple graphics in Canva
- Maintain a content calendar
Content & SEO
- Write or assist with SEO-friendly blog posts
- Optimize existing posts (headings, keywords, meta descriptions)
- Basic keyword research
- Update website content (WordPress preferred)
Email Marketing
- Create & schedule newsletters (Mailchimp or similar)
- Repurpose blog & social content into email campaigns
Google & Visibility
- Manage Google Business Profile updates
- Post photos & updates
- Assist with basic SEO tracking/reporting
🧠 Ideal Skills
- VA, Social Media, or Digital Marketing experience
- Basic on-page SEO knowledge
- Strong written English
- Canva experience
- Familiarity with WordPress & email tools
- Interest in travel / tourism brands is a big plus
⏱️ Time Commitment
- Off-season: ~10–15 hours/month
- Busy season: ~20–35 hours/month
