Independent contractor. Warehouse and fulfillment (3PL).
We are hiring an experienced part-time Customer Support Representative for our small support team. You will work through clients' day-to-day support cases and keep them updated, from start to finish.
This is not an entry-level role. You should already know customer support. You do not need experience in shipping or claims, we train all of that. We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and easy to work with, who wants steady part-time remote work.
What you will do
- Handle a steady queue of support cases: lost or damaged shipments, missing items, delivery questions, and similar requests.
- File claims with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and others) when a shipment goes wrong, and follow each one through to a resolution. We teach you the whole process.
- Keep clients updated with clear, professional messages as their cases move along.
- Track every case in our systems, a task tracker and shipping records, so nothing slips.
- Follow up with carriers, often more than once. They are slow, and getting a claim paid takes staying on it.
- Escalate the cases that need a manager's decision instead of forcing them.
This is steady, detailed work. Most days are a set of similar cases, handled carefully, one after another. It is not flashy, and that is the point.
What we are looking for
- Experienced in customer support. You have handled a real volume of customer cases or tickets, day in and day out, in a past support role. This is not an entry-level job, and not a first VA gig.
- Strong written English. Almost all of this work is writing: messages to clients and emails to carriers. You write clearly and professionally.
- Used to working from a set process. Our work runs on documented steps across a few tools (a task tracker, spreadsheets, carrier websites, and our own platform), and you follow them carefully and consistently.
- Self-directed. You can run your own queue remotely, without close supervision, and keep cases moving.
- Organized with records. You keep track of every case so nothing falls through.
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work, available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM California (Pacific) time (about 20 hours a week).
- No shipping or claims experience needed, we train all of that. Logistics or 3PL experience is a welcome plus, not a requirement.
The details
- Part-time: about 20 hours per week. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM California (Pacific) time.
- Fully remote.

- Pay is competitive. Tell us the hourly rate you are looking for when you apply.
