What if the point is not to transcend being human? 👀✨ Where are you still trying to escape being human? And what would change if you let yourself be here a little more fully today? 🌍 You’re not meditating to erase your thoughts or float off into some enlightened cloud somewhere. ☁️🧘♂️ Your brain is doing its job. It is trying to make sense of this wild, messy, beautiful world. That’s not a problem. That’s intelligence. That’s survival. That’s part of being human. 🧠🔥 And God damn it, don’t kill your ego. Train it. Listen to it. Question it. Work with it. Let it become a better partner in your life instead of treating it like some enemy you need to destroy. 🤝 There is this idea in some spiritual and self-help spaces that the goal is to get out of here. Transcend the body. Escape the wheel. Leave the human experience behind. Become some floating angelic thing that no longer has needs, desires, anger, grief, hunger, sex, confusion, or longing. 👼🚀 Honestly? I don’t buy it. Stop treating this body like a “meat suit.” I hate that idea. 😂 This body is not some temporary prison you are dragging around until you get promoted to another dimension. This is the instrument. 🎻 This is where breath happens. Touch happens. Love happens. Grief happens. Pleasure happens. Desire happens. Connection happens. Learning happens. 🌬️🤲❤️ The point is not to avoid the mess. The point is to be here. Fully here. 🌀 In the ache. In the boredom. In the irritation. In the tenderness. In the pleasure. In the suckiness. In the ecstasy. In the moments where you feel completely clear and the moments where you have no idea what the hell is going on. 🌊 That’s the practice. Not pretending you are above it all. Not bypassing your humanity with better spiritual language. 🙄 But actually inhabiting your life. Feeling it. Breathing it. Letting it move through you.
