When I quit making any new music, people talk about marketing as if spending money would solve the problem. Trust me, it won't solve anything. Spending on marketing is not only a waste of money, but it will hurt my finances. Artists make art, not spend money just to see the return in pennies... dont tell me about what harm it does. I tell what harm in it spending money on social media, especially when the artist is struggling, is like sunk cost... when the ship is sinking, no one buys the marketing ads, instead we try to fix the hole or escape the boat from it I chose to escape the boat instead of fixing it, not because I like to run away, but because I saw the reality that saving a sinking boat is not the solution to the problem In this light, it is the same thing when the boat is sunk; no marketing is going to solve the problem here And on the second note, I am also getting disliked, which is normal for any video. I look at it that way But saying marketing will solve the problem, I dont think so. I did marketing for my 5 videos prior, but did it yield results? No, it does not. I just wasted the money in vain
