Good morning, friends, and Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the week already, and this morning I just want to remind you of something I need to remind myself of sometimes too. We don’t have to carry everything. I don’t know what kind of week you’ve had so far. Maybe things are going great. Maybe your plans have completely changed. Maybe you’re tired, worried about someone you love, waiting on an answer to prayer, or carrying something in your heart that nobody else even knows about. Whatever it is, God knows. And He is right there with you. 📖 Today’s Scripture “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 ESV Bible Translation - ESV English Standard Version.pdf I love those words, “very present.” Not far away. Not too busy. Not waiting for us to get everything figured out. Present. Right here. Right now. Sometimes I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to have all the answers, fix every problem, take care of everybody, and keep pushing no matter how tired we are. But God never asked us to do life without Him. So today, I’m choosing to slow down a little and remember where my strength really comes from. Maybe you need that reminder too. ❤️ 🙏 A Little Wednesday Challenge Before you get too far into your day, spend a few quiet minutes with God. Open your Bible and actually sit with His Word for a while. Thank Him for getting you through the first half of this week. Think about somebody who might need encouragement and reach out to them. And that thing you’ve been worrying about over and over again? Give it to God. 🙏 Let’s Pray Heavenly Father, thank You for another Wednesday and for bringing us this far through the week. Thank You for being with us in the good moments and the difficult ones. Lord, some of us are tired today. Some are worried. Some are waiting for answers. Some are hurting. Some are carrying burdens we haven’t told anyone about. Please remind us that we don’t have to carry those things alone.

Good morning, friends, and Happy Tuesday! Welcome to a brand new month. September is here! 🍂 A new month brings new days, new opportunities, new responsibilities, and perhaps even some unexpected changes. But before we start thinking about everything that needs to happen this month, there is something much more important to remember. God is already there. We do not know everything September will bring, but God does. So before the day gets busy, pour yourself a cup of coffee, open your Bible, find a quiet place, and spend a few moments with the Lord. Talk to Him about your plans. Talk to Him about your worries. Thank Him for your blessings. Then place this new month into His hands. 📖 Verse of the Day “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.” Psalm 37:5 ESV What a wonderful truth to carry into September. God does not ask us to figure everything out before we trust Him. He asks us to commit our way to Him and trust Him. That means we can move forward even when we cannot see the entire road ahead. 🙏 Tuesday Challenge Begin September by committing this month to God in prayer. 📖 Spend time in His Word before the distractions of the day take over. ☕ Take a few quiet moments to thank God for five specific blessings. ❤️ Encourage someone who may be beginning this month with a heavy heart. 🙏 Pray specifically for your spouse, children, grandchildren, family, friends, church, and community. 🌿 Choose one worry you have been carrying and intentionally place it in God’s hands today. 💚 A Reminder for September You do not need to have the entire month figured out today. Take it one day at a time. One prayer at a time. One decision at a time. One act of obedience at a time. One step of faith at a time. Some days this month may bring wonderful news. Some may bring challenges. Some prayers may be answered. Others may require more waiting. Plans may change. Doors may open. Doors may close. But through every moment, God will remain faithful.

Today is the Lord’s Day, a beautiful opportunity to slow down, gather with other believers, open God’s Word, lift our voices in worship, and remember who deserves the glory for every blessing in our lives. Sunday is more than the last day of the weekend. It is a day to turn our attention away from the noise of the world and toward the goodness of God. 📖 Sunday Scripture “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!” Psalm 95:6 ESV What a beautiful invitation. Come worship. Come pray. Come listen. Come with your burdens. Come with your praises. Come just as you are and turn your heart toward the Lord. ❤️ Today, Make Worship a Priority Go to church if you are able. Take your family with you. Bring your Bible. Sing the songs. Listen carefully to God’s Word. Pray for your pastor. Encourage someone in your church family. Look for the person sitting alone and make them feel welcome. And when the church service ends, don’t let your worship end with it. Carry Christ into the rest of your Sunday. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Make Time for Fellowship Gather around the table with family and friends. Enjoy Sunday dinner. Visit your parents or grandparents. Spend time with your children and grandchildren. Call someone you haven’t heard from lately. Laugh together. Share stories. Pray together. Thank God for one another. Some of the greatest blessings God gives us are not things at all. They are the people He places in our lives. 🌿 And Make Time to Rest Tomorrow will bring another week with responsibilities, schedules, appointments, work, school, and plenty to do. But today, allow yourself some time to rest. Sit on the porch. Take an afternoon nap. Go for a peaceful drive. Enjoy God’s creation. Read your Bible. Turn off the noise for a while.
