I am doing the homework from one of my coaches and came across this in the lesson around finding your trigger. As I was thinking about what a trigger may be, I realized one. When I've made a mistake, or what is perceived as a mistake I immediately think someone is going to think I am stupid or bad.
Example. I sent the wrong calendar link to someone. It is for a 60 minute time slot instead of the intro 30 min times slot.
I thought to myself what an idiot, well she's probably not going to show up anyway.
Cancel, cancel, cancel!
Then I thought; Wait, we may need the whole 60 minutes to really connect and what if that's actually the perfect thing to have done? What? Yay, now I can’t wait to see what happens and what the Universe and God have in store for me and this time. What if she's my ideal client? What if we're a perfect client/coach match?
We get to be messy and make mistakes.
"They've decided that the gap between who they are and what they want isn't evidence that they can't have it. It is what they are willing to do, to walk through, to get there. They decided that it's win or learn. They decided that they are the 2%" - @Eileen MacDonell. 2026 Eileen has a community called The ShiftShow and she has a program called Lead Yourself to Wealth.
