Training
"Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly rumors. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come." (1 Timothy 4:8) Physical health is important! Get fit! It's the temple of God! Have it be a good looking capable one! Read books and magazines on whatever interests you, do activities that develop your creativity, but what is totally most important, YOUR SOUL! So never skip a bible day, even if it's just one bible verse. A bible verse a day keeps the devil away!

Scan me
"And remember Jerusalem, your home here on earth. Walk through the awful ruins of the city; see how the enemy has destroyed your sanctuary." (Psalm 74:2-3) Jerusalem is Gods pride and joy, and due to their disobedience and ungratefulness, he let his home base be destroyed. Ouch! That must have wrecked him! Now his people are demanding for God to take the time to take a closer look at what the enemy has done to their beautiful land. We are not a city, but we are God's temple, and the enemy is trying to ruin us everyday. Tell us lies, have us eat that extra meal, watch netflix, not ask that person out. So we should often call on out Father and demand he scan us! Give us an update on where we need fixing most. Where to start! He knows us and the future better than we do, so what better a person to ask than our loving Father? Amen

Turn of events
"This turn of events was the will of God." (2 Chronicles 11:15) So this is the story of Saul and his sons, and boy oh boy is it a juicy and crazy family story! I'm going to try and write it as best as possible! To tell his story we have to go way back to a time before Israel had a human King, because God alone was their King. They demanded to be like the other societies who had a person to boss them around. God demanded their understanding that that ideology was not what they wanted, a King would only bring sorrow and stress. But they refused to listen to an all powerful God so a King is reluctantly what He gave them. The Kings daughter fell in love with a boy named David whom was prophesied to become the next King, they married and her father wouldn't stop trying to kill him. Eventually this angered God to the point of Sauls and his son deaths. One son escaped before the war and came back wanting to dethrone King David...or more so take it before he could come into power. When he (Rehoboam- Saul's son) met with the Northern tribes of Israel to discuss his leadership plans, rather than listening to his fathers advisors wise advice of ""If you are good to these people and do your best to please them and give them a favorable answer, they will always be your loyal subjects."" (2 Chronicles 10:7) ALL THEY WANTED WAS A LIGHTER BURDEN! poor babies. They were being worked so hard with little food. And he threatened to beat them with scorpions rather than whips like his father did! But his foolishness was God's doing, that too was prophesied long ago. David was always meant to be King. He was righteous and highly favored.

Anything
"Jesus answered, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me."" All the disciples became aware they were going to die brutal deaths, one by one their fates were being told; but when Apostle Johns fate was not being told they were puzzled. So they asked Jesus, what about John? Jesus' response was ["Whats it to you?"] basically. Jesus is all powerful, He could indeed keep John alive till his return, hiding, young, old, white, blue, anything. That just goes to show there are no limitations on what can be done. So when you're beginning to stop praying as often, you're setting yourself up for defeat. Always be prepared to die for your faith, but your prayers should be limitless. "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer". (Matthew 21:22) Stay clean, stay pure...God DOES NOT answer the prayers of the wicked and cruel and self-seeking. How will you let God use you?

Reap
"Let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap a harvest of blessings if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9) I'm aware that in this world it gets hard to turn the other cheek, be grateful in the mud, be honest and do what is right. But we must! Fortunately we are blessed to be forgiven, but that gives little room for knowing what we ought to do and not doing it. The more we submit, obey and lean into righteousness, the more we will be rewarded. Maybe not in this life but in the next. That is a promise we must put full trust and faith into. Xx
