"And remember Jerusalem, your home here on earth. Walk through the awful ruins of the city; see how the enemy has destroyed your sanctuary." (Psalm 74:2-3)
Jerusalem is Gods pride and joy, and due to their disobedience and ungratefulness, he let his home base be destroyed. Ouch! That must have wrecked him!
Now his people are demanding for God to take the time to take a closer look at what the enemy has done to their beautiful land.
We are not a city, but we are God's temple, and the enemy is trying to ruin us everyday. Tell us lies, have us eat that extra meal, watch netflix, not ask that person out. So we should often call on out Father and demand he scan us! Give us an update on where we need fixing most.
Where to start!
He knows us and the future better than we do, so what better a person to ask than our loving Father?
