Read This First 👇 How This Community Works
This is not a “post cute videos and hope for the best” group. This community is for: • Owners who want real change • Clear communication • Accountability • Less chaos, more calm How to Get Value Here 1️⃣ Ask clear, specific questions 2️⃣ Post short clips when you’re stuck 3️⃣ Be honest about what you are—and aren’t—doing 4️⃣ Understand that structure builds freedom Community Expectations To keep this community focused and productive, questions, concerns, or feedback about training should be shared within the group or directly with Tristan. Please avoid privately messaging other members to discuss their satisfaction, concerns, or opinions about training. Keeping these conversations in the open helps ensure clarity, consistency, and appropriate guidance. If these expectations are not followed, moderation actions may include content removal, temporary restrictions, or removal from the community. If you’re willing to work, this group will help you. 👇 Drop below: • Your dog’s age • Breed • Biggest struggle right now

📣 Community Engagement Update
To keep this group focused, valuable, and high-level, we’re doing a 30-day engagement cleanup. This community is built for people who are actively learning, applying, and participating — not passively consuming. Starting next Saturday, members who have not logged in, posted, commented, or completed assignments in the last 30 days will be removed from the group. This isn’t a punishment. It’s a standard that protects the quality of the community. Why this matters: - Higher engagement = better discussions - Active members get faster support - Progress accelerates when people participate - Dead weight slows momentum for everyone If you want to stay: ✅ Log in ✅ Comment on a post ✅ Complete an assignment ✅ Ask a question Any activity counts. If life got busy and you still want in — rejoining is always an option. This is about building a serious, committed environment where progress is the expectation, not the exception. Let’s keep the standard high.

Whale Eye: A warning sign
Whale eye from a dog can come from a variety of reasons including uncertainty, fear, aggression, or a precursor to an attempt at a bite. It can also be a dog body language sign toward another dog while also lip licking, or showing teeth is taking place. All three together then a rapid close of the mouth signifies a bite is about to occur. It’s something to watch out for if you own dogs.

TO ALL ACTIVE IN PERSON CLIENTS
We’re going to be experiencing record breaking windchills this weekend. I haven’t cancelled sessions in bulk due to weather yet but seeing that we could be reaching -15 down to -30 in some cases, I may have to make the decision to ensure the safety of all people and dogs whether it be from the weather itself or driving conditions. These cancellations could go from Friday through to the next Tuesday.
