Hey guys. I've appreciated our calls so much these last few weeks. It's been so helpful figuring out where to go from here and what everyone's looking for.
So far we've been unpacking:
- Romans 12:2 teaches us to question and challenge the behaviours and beliefs that drive the way we parent.
- Proverbs 22:6 shows us that we need to consider what the "right path" is for our kids, so we asked, what tools and vision do you want your kids to have when they are adults?
- This included helping them to see the world as a place to pour into, not take from, and the big idea of gratitude and thankfulness.
- Role modelling is fundamental to training our kids.
- So what vision do you have for yourself, and how are you going to live it?
From here we're going to start going through Proverbs together. The goal is to use it as a road map, questioning, challenging, and unpacking how we can grow in wisdom so that we can be successful in every area of our lives as fathers.
See you on the next call.
