Strength is the skill of responding effectively. There are three strengths. Physical, mental, and emotional.
Physical strength.
Picture a pile of one-hundred pound bricks. Pick five bricks and put them in a bag. Now imagine carrying that five-hundred pound bag a mile, uphill. Physical strength is the skill needed to respond effectively. Cross the finish line.
Mental strength.
Remember the game show Wheel of Fortune? Contestants spun a wheel. The wheel would stop on a dollar prize. But, the contestant only won that prize if they guessed the correct letters for a word puzzle and solved it. This sounds simple. But more than half of the guesses failed. Prize money only paid out to contestants with mental strength. They ability to see patterns and connect clues.
Mental strength is the skill needed to respond effectively. Solve the
mystery.
Emotional strength.
Few escape adverse life events. Violence, abuse, divorce, neglect. Growing up. At work. At home. These meteors hit hard. They hurt at level eight, nine, or ten. Emotional strength is the skill needed to respond effectively. Understand unmet needs.
