Tough Conversations
Most people don’t like to have tough conversations. In fact, they run from it. They go in the opposite direction and avoid it. Men…we can’t do that. We must stand in love, truth, and conviction without wavering to do the right thing and bring to light accountability at the appropriate times.
I recently had to have a very tough conversation with someone I respected because they were choosing to ignore the truth and not do the right thing— because it was hard. Because it was uncomfortable…well, that meant I had to do the uncomfortable thing and stand firm. It’s all about delivery and speaking from the heart and not from emotion.
What’s a recent time that you had to stand firm and be strong?
