Welcoming the New Year with the 11.11 Summit was a blast! We kicked off at 5am on New Year’s Day and turned what was supposed to be an 11-hour event into about 15 hours of community and connection 🎉
This is Skool Hub, so it feels right to say this plainly 👇
Some members here will recognise familiar names.
Some journeys overlap.
Some of what exists now connects back to earlier days.
Nothing happens in isolation.
has a part to play through connection and promotion, overlap, and shared ecosystem.
Some members here came through Skool Hub.
Some paths crossed early.
That matters.
This is simply acknowledging that connection 🤝
Onwards and upwards 🚀

Building properly.
Learning publicly.

We celebrated ours by testing something properly, together, in real time, as a community.
Not perfectly.
Not quietly.
Not safely.
But honestly.
This is a documentary-style share of what actually happened, why it mattered, and what we learned 👇
This community officially started on Tuesday 11th November 2025.
Day one reality was very humble.
33 activities.
2 members present.
That’s it.
No buzz.
No noise.
No hype.
Just planning, groundwork, and intention.
From that starting point, in 51 days, by New Year’s Day 2026, we reached Page 2 in the money category on Skool discovery the most competitive category on the platform.
That context matters.
Nothing started big.
Everything was built.
🌍 ONE BILLION SKOOL COMMUNITIES 🌍
#SkoolOneBillionCommunity
This isn’t a slogan.
It’s a direction.
If Skool is going to scale properly, it has to be used properly.
If features are going to improve, they have to be tested in real conditions.
That only happens when communities are willing to use, break, adapt, and share feedback.
That’s why this Summit happened.
I enjoy using Zoom.
Zoom is familiar.
Zoom is safe.
But for this Summit, I deliberately chose Skool Webinar.
Not because it was easier.
Not because it was guaranteed.
Because I believe in the Skool ecosystem, and because everything being in one place matters.
🏠 Community
🎥 Webinar
💳 Payments
🔁 Replays
📚 Classroom
🔐 Data Security
All under one roof.
This wasn’t about taking the easy route.
This was about testing what’s possible in real conditions.
Planning didn’t happen overnight.
I spent around 25 days preparing.
Then over 7 days actively testing.
Different setups.
Different environments.
Different devices.
💻 Laptops
Chromebooks
MacBooks
Windows machines
📱 Phones
iPhone
Android
📲 Tablets
We tested cameras.
We tested microphones.
We tested AirPods.
We tested portrait vs landscape.
TikTok-style vertical.
YouTube-style horizontal.
We did our best to remove feedback.
We pushed it hard.
And we learned fast.
Important realities discovered 👇
❌ No screen sharing on mobile
❌ No screen sharing on tablets
That limits presenters.
That limits flexibility.
That matters for events.
🎤 The Summit itself 👇
This was planned as:
11 guest speakers
11 hours
Reality:
15+ hours live 😅
Not because people were rambling.
Not because of ego.
But because technical friction compounds.
Small delays stack.
One issue affects the next speaker.
Then the next.
Live events don’t hide anything.
Some members had to leave to sleep and come back.
Some stayed the entire time.
Some dipped in and out across time zones.
That’s real life.
💬 Communication reality 👇
Inside Skool Webinar, chat has limits.
As host, there’s no clear indicator when someone is typing.
Messages appear delayed.
Character limits apply.
So we adapted.
We used one live community post thread for the entire Summit.
No pin.
No static post.
Just movement.
Every message pushed it back to the top.
Real-time conversation.
Clear flow.
That single thread reached 398 comments, live, during the event.
That thread carried the energy.
But it also highlighted something important 👇
A webinar should keep people inside the room.
Not force them to leave to participate.
Fluidity matters.
🎥 Recording + replay reality 👇
Live recording worked.
That part was solid.
⬇️ One-click download during the live session
Fast
Reliable
No corruption
But then came friction.
📥 Download locally
⬆️ Re-upload manually
📚 Place into the Classroom
With 15 hours of content, that’s heavy lifting.
If stopping the recording could:
➡️ Push directly into the Classroom
➡️ Into the course
➡️ With access control (VIP-only)
The Summit Replay would already be complete.
That one improvement would mean:
⏱️ Faster delivery
🎯 Cleaner workflow
📦 A finished event the same day
This isn’t criticism.
This is refinement.
💳 Payments during the Summit 👇
Payments processed live.
Green checks appearing during the event.
No handling.
No friction.
Skool’s infrastructure here is strong.
📊 Activity impact 👇
During the Summit:
Over 2,000+ activities
Ranking movement:
Page 3
Rank 62
➡️ Page 2
➡️ Around rank 60
That doesn’t happen without engagement.
🧠 Why this all matters 👇
This wasn’t about perfection.
It was about progress.
If more communities use Skool Webinar,
More issues surface sooner.
Fixes come faster.
The platform improves properly.
Zoom is familiar.
But ecosystems grow through use, not avoidance.
This Summit showed what’s possible,
What works,
What doesn’t yet,
And where the polish needs to go.
That’s how platforms mature.
That’s how communities grow.
Together we are stronger.
Nothing stopped the value
All logged for improvement
