Audit your attachment
One of the things I have learned in my journey is that detachment is power
When you are able to detach from the outcome and focus on the process, things happen a lot easier
Ultimately, reality is all about your state
And the state of detachment is one of the highest vibrational states there is
How do you find where you are too attached?
This should be easily identifiable by looking at your actions
Your actions are a manifestation of your priorities
So first, you gotta figure out where you are attached
Where are you giving excess meaning to?
Where might have you gone a little too far?
Then, you gotta figure out how to detach yourself
First, where are you attached?
This might not be an easy question to answer straightaway, since we are not the greatest at seeing our blind spots - most often
So the secret is in looking at our unconscious behavior
Until you make the unconscious conscious it will rule your life and you will call it fate
So step 1: look at your behavior
See what kind of actions you take that seem excessive from the outside
That seem like you might have some attachment
If you need help with it, ask someone who knows you to describe where you might be attached
Often times it is a lot easier for other people to notice this
Step 2: find out how to detach yourself
Detaching yourself is a process
You can detach from multiple things
For example - detaching from the outcome
Detaching from yourself
Detaching from your goal
The most effective way to detach yourself is to ask yourself:
“How do I let go?”
“How do I truly let go?”
Then give yourself time to come up with the answer
This is how you figure out where you are attached
As well as how you figure out how you can detach
Look to your behavior, ask other people and be patient
Then, as you detach yourself - your energy frees up
You are able to move more freely, you literally unclamp the strings like you would on a doll
You cut the strings I should say
That is the main advantage of doing this
You find out where you are attached so you can detach and free your energy and headspace and move through life more effortlessly
Because that is the benefit - when you detach, obstacles seem to fall away on their own accord. Life is less stressful and more exciting in this state of detachment
And in my opinion, that is what life is supposed to be - not stressful, but exciting, energized, fun and free
So give it a shot - and audit your attachment
