FRIDAY — ENCOURAGEMENT | March 13, 2026
Friday is a good reminder that no matter what this week has brought… God is still your help. Maybe this week stretched you. Maybe it challenged you. Maybe it left you tired, uncertain, or carrying more than you expected. But the Word of God reminds us: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” — Hebrews 13:6 That means you don’t have to face today in fear. You don’t have to carry everything alone. And you don’t have to let worry have the final word. Today, choose to be encouraged: ⭐ Look to God ⭐ Lean on His promises ⭐ Remember His faithfulness ⭐ Walk in peace The same God who brought you through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday… is the same God who will carry you through today. If you’re trusting in God’s help today, comment: “FEAR NOT.” 🙏 And if you’re not 100% sure that you would go to heaven if you died today, and you’d like to know for certain, I would love to chat with you and explain God’s simple plan of salvation. No pressure just a caring conversation about the greatest hope we can ever have. Message me if you would like to have a 1:1 with me. Don Schaeffer

Real leadership sometimes means saying the thing people would rather you didn’t say.
RIGHT… STORY FOR YA Years ago I had this friend who told me she couldn’t watch horror movies because it was “dark energy.” Like could not be in the house if one was on. She’d be like “nope… I can’t be around that energy… it’s bad… I need to go out.” Proper kerfuffle about it… big energy speech…EW Meanwhile… she’s sat there eating a sausage sandwich… And I remember sitting there thinking (in my head OBVS because back then I kept my mouth shut)… hang on a second… so let me get this straight… you can’t watch a horror film because of DARK ENERGY… but you’re eating an animal that was enslaved, tortured, slaughtered, chopped into pieces and shoved into a sausage… and that energy is totally fine. WTF Now before anyone gets their knickers in a twist… this post isn’t actually about BEING VEGAN. That part just happens to be a true story. The real point is this… Back then I stayed quiet. I didn’t say anything. Not because I didn’t have the thought (OBVS the thought was there loud and clear in my head)… but because I didn’t think it was my place to say it out loud. I’m not that person anymore. Now I understand something that took me a long time to learn. I have a VOICE for a reason. Not to attack people, not to be nasty DUH… but to stand up for the things I actually believe in. So yes… now I will absolutely speak up for animals. If I see someone kick a dog… I will say something. If I see someone mistreat a human… I will say something. Not with violence, OBVS… but with my voice. Because silence helps nobody… And here’s where this loops right back to business (HELLO… you knew that bit was coming) Too many people are trying to build businesses while tiptoeing around their own opinions… scared to say something, scared to offend someone, scared someone might disagree, scared someone might unfollow them… all that polite little dance. But leaders don’t sit quietly hoping everyone approves of them. Leaders LEAD! They stand for something. They say the thing others are too nervous to say out loud. They have conviction. They have perspective. They have a BACKBONE
Real leadership sometimes means saying the thing people would rather you didn’t say.

@Mimi Ramsey they need to hear, even if they don't like it. It's like love - give them what they need, not what they want - not always easy

Are you using Beginner's Mind?
There's this thing called Beginner's Mind, and it's one of those concepts that sounds nice in theory but actually changes the way your body responds to everything. When you're a beginner, everything is open. You're curious, you're a sponge, you're ready to learn. But when you become the "expert"? You stop listening. You've already decided you know it. And that's where it gets interesting, because what looks like confidence is often just rigidity. I first really got this when I was teaching yoga. Every time you step onto the mat, your body is different. What I could do yesterday, I might not be able to do today. And if I go in thinking I already know what my body can do, I'm not being confident. I'm being inaccurate. I might even push myself into an injury because my mind made a decision my body didn't agree with. And it's not just a yoga thing. I see the same pattern in nervous system work. People come in having already read everything, already decided how it should work, how quickly it should work. And then if it doesn't match their expectations? They drop out after a week. It looks like giving up, but it's actually expert mind in disguise. You've already decided the ending before you've started. The bit people miss is that Beginner's Mind isn't just a nice attitude. It's a physiological state. When you approach something with curiosity and openness, you're more likely to be in that calm, connected, ventral vagal state. Your nervous system is regulated enough to actually take in new information. But when you're bracing for failure or assuming the worst? That's sympathetic activation. Your body is in protection mode before you've even begun. You can't pour water into a clenched fist. I had to sit with this myself recently. Someone I trust told me I should be charging more, and my gut said no. But I had to ask myself, is this intuition or is it fear dressed up as knowing? Because expert mind and intuition can feel really similar on the surface. Both show up as "I know the right way."

one, love the GIF, two, I remind people all the time that the best way to learn is to mess up and make mistakes. Having the beginners mind is a beautiful thing.
The Fastest Way to Improve Your Content!
Yesterday I hosted Day 1 of the Story to Income Challenge in Limitless Life. The growth and energy from everyone was powerful. Creators are using their story to create amazing connections with their audience online and I wanted to share some of whats working best with you all! The difference between a post that gets ignored and a post that pulls people in is usually one sentence The hook. So I created a list of 200 storytelling hooks creators can use to: *start better posts *share their experiences in a way that connects *and stop staring at a blank screen wondering what to say And since there are so many builders in here, I wanted to share it. The Boring Work 😴
Everyone wants the "big win." We want the viral post or the huge launch where everything finally clicks. But the work that actually gets you there is usually boring. It’s the daily checklist. It’s answering the same three questions in your DMs. It’s showing up when you have zero "inspiration." If you only work when it feels exciting, you won’t last. Success isn't a brilliant new idea. It’s being okay with the repetitive stuff that keeps the engine running. Let’s talk about the grind: - What is one "boring" task you did this week that actually moved the needle? - Or, what is one part of your routine you always want to skip? Drop a comment below 👇
