Hope you've all had a great summer. I've just been confirming the events schedule for Autumn, dates will be with you soon but just wanted to confirm who's joining us: 🎨 Art Therapy and Emotions Workshop With Lynne Grahame I've also got Lynne Grahame, an amazing art therapist who is also trained in psychodynamic work. Lynn is a BAAT and HCPC registered art therapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Art Therapy, working since 1999 across the NHS, mental health and community settings. She'll be using simple techniques with colour and art, not about beauty, talent or skill, to help you access emotions as part of your inner work. 💖Conscious Menopause With Cathy Skipper Cathy Skipper, a Jungian therapist, has agreed to do some talks on midlife and menopause, understanding emotions, and the role that dream journaling can play. Cathy is a Jungian-informed guide and "menopause midwife," drawing on alchemy, shadow work and the sacred feminine to help women move through menopause consciously, she's been guiding women through this journey since 2017. 💟 Live Guided Allowing With Sam Miller Sam Miller from The Great Allowing is coming back to run some live guided emotional allowing sessions. Sam's approach is trauma-informed, somatic and depth-psychological, drawing on her own recovery from chronic illness as well as trauma therapy, somatic experiencing and nervous system science. 📒Group Emotional Coaching and Journaling Pippa Braund will be back with her group emotional coaching and journaling support sessions. September Reset - How's Yours Going? 👇
Post an update below 👇 Also wanted to share some helpful insights on time. It's always worth actually looking at the hours you have in a day and how they are spent. If you're awake from 6am to 10pm. That's 16 hours a day. Take off work/household duties: around 7 hours a day, if you're doing a 50 hour week. Take off morning/evening chores and commuting: around 4 hours a day. That leaves you with roughly 5 hours a day that isn't spoken for. Five hours daily. Some of that will be lost to spontaneous events and jobs that come up (paperwork, caring for others etc). But still I hope you can see there is time to be blocked out for self care, a walk, a 20 min nidra, etc. A great starting place is ditching the doom scroll (we all get tempted by this!) and attaching to more tasks - which could be done tomorrow! Your ego will always suggest otherwise 😉

Saying hello! - and a request for mindful fiction recommendations
Hi everyone, wanted to say hi and keep myself accountable. I gave myself permission to relax my routine on allowing and meditation for a little while but it's time to come back. I can feel my busy brain returning so I'm posting here for some accountability. I use my yoga as a route to meditation but I know I need to find a way to weave some more back in. I tried to listen to a chant on my yoga mat for about 6 mins last night and it was a CHALLENGE! I'm on Pippa's wait list for a 121 and I think I've been using that as an excuse not to do the work - i.e., it's ok because Pippa will fix me! 😂 Anyway, wanted to say hello and that I'm still here and that I'm commiting to you all that I'll do one nidra or meditation or allowing before sunday evening. Sending love x Also any recommendations for a gentle book on all this. Wondering if there is any fiction out there with similar themes? UPDATE - I did my first Nidra for a while tonight so I feel like I’m winning. Off to bed now with my self care planner!
